The Discover Engineering Event this last weekend was a great success! Thanks to all that helped out in the planning and execution of the events. Look under the "Events" tab for extra information about the event and some photos of the demonstrations!
The chapter has recently been awarded an SPIE (International Society of Optical Engineers) Education Outreach grant in the amount of $3350. A proposal was written in May to conduct demonstrations in the optical sciences for K-12 students in our local and regional areas. We proposed traveling to local and regional schools to set up fun and interesting experiments designed to teach the students about optics and increase general optics awareness and interest. The proposal was accepted and our first demonstration is scheduled for October 23 at Texas A&M University. This is very exciting and we are looking forward to a great year!

My name is Annie Stoltenberg and I am the Marketing Coordinator for Texas A&M Baseball. This Friday, March 26th, we are running a promotion where all Greek organizations on campus get in FREE! For free admission students simply need to wear a shirt with greek letters on it and enter at the student entrance. There will also be t-shirts and other prizes given to the organizations that brings the most people. We would love to see Alpha Eta Mu Beta out at the ballpark for the 6:35 game against Big 12 opponent Missouri.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me, or check the facebook event http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=370308851818
